　　（一）热身

　　1、重温四年级上册unit 5 的sing along: my friend,如果能找到与孙中山有关的歌词更好。

　　2、提问学生：who’s your hero or heroine? Why?

　　(二)呈现与操练

　　1、引入新课

　　2、教新单词：historical历史的

　　让学生讲几个历史人物，加深对historical的认识。

　　3、教单词：be born

　　提醒学生注意在使用这个句型的时候要使用过去时形式。

　　4、教He was the father of modern China.

　　5、教单词：leader / against/ emperor/ free

　　Teacher: Why was Dr Sun Yatsen so important? What did he do? He was a great leader. He was against the emperor. He tried to change China and free the people.(板书)

　　leader 领导；领袖again--- against 反对

　　change 有空的；自由的

　　6、教Finally he started to change China.

　　Teacher : Did Dr Sun Yatsen free the Chinese people?

　　Yes, but slowly. Finally be started to change China.(板书)
