  Ss: (According to T’s fingers, read the words .) big, tall, old, older, younger, than…

  T: (Points to “than”) Let’s look at this word, can you guess the Chinese meaning?

  Ss: 比

  T: Yes, “比”。( Because Group B says faster, T gives Group B a step. ) A, come on. Stand up. Say: A, A, A! Go, go, go!

  Ss(stand up then do the actions): A, A, A! Go, go, go!

  T: I believe you. Sit down.

  [设计意图:学生在竞赛中开心地熟练了形容词比较级的读音,既使读十次也不枯燥凡味;并着重理解than这一词汇的意义,与上课伊始学课题时留下的伏笔前后呼应。]

  ⑵T:(Points to the screen) Can you find any differences?

  Ss: 多了e-r.

  T: (小结规律,points to the screen) “er”, / /, 多/ /多更。

  ⑶T shows the grammar knowledge by PPT:

  [设计意图:不同颜色的文字帮助学生快速小结语法规律,去图片加中文,去除干扰信息,增加关键词,加深对比较级变化规律的记忆。还可以让学生在归纳小结中明确语法规则,形成语法意识。]

  4.Guessing time:

  T: Let’s have a guessing game. Please look, what’s this? (T draws a big circle on the blackboard.)
