  (1) The new apartment is / look better than the old one. The old apartment was/ looked worse than the new one.

  (2) The new apartment is /looks bigger than the old one. The old apartment was/ looked smaller than the new one.

  (目的是让学生复习上学期学的重点句型——形容词比较级和最高级。)

  (二)呈现与操练

  1、教师出示两幅公寓的图片。

  2、小组讨论,比较新旧两间卧室,教师可以出示下面问题供讨论:

  (1)Which bedroom is bigger/ smaller, the old one or the new one?

  (2)Which bedroom looks tidier/ cleaner/ messier, the old bedroom or the new one?

  3、学生回答上述问题可以板书详细答案。

  4、教师通过图片,让学生理解Xiaoling的房间(同时也学习单词)。

  Look at the picture. It’s Xiaoling’s new bedroom. This is Xiaoling’s pillow. It’s a present from her grandparent for her new bedroom.

  (先利用图帮助学生理解课文的一些难点,并为整体呈现课文做准备。)

  5、让学生带着下面问题观看课文教学软件或听课文录音:

  (1)Where are Xiaoling , Mike, Sally and Yongxian?

  (2)Which is better, Xiaoling’s old house or her new apartment?

  (3)Why Xiaoling’s new bedroom is brighter than her old one?

  (4)Is Xiaoling nearer to her school now?

  (5)Is Xiaoling’s new bed prettier than the one in her old bedroom?

  (6)Which bed is more comfortable, Xiaoling’s new bed or the one in her old bedroom?

  (7)Did Jiamin throw the pillow?

  (8)Is Xiaoling’s bedroom messy now?

  6、通过观看课文教学软件或听课文录音两次,让学生回答问题。

  7、当学生能理解课文大意后,让学生找出自己还不太明白的地方。

  8、让学生找出形容词比较级的句子并加以比较。

  (对比的目的是让学生回忆什么时候形容词加-er,什么时候加-more.)

  9、让学生理解下面的句子:

  Your bedroom is …, isn’t it?

  You’re … aren’t you?

  (三)巩固
