  2) 教学 This is... 和 That is... 两个新句型时,笔者设计了以下这首 rhyme,配合动作,学生很快就理解了两个句型之间的区别。

  This & That

  This is my desk. This is my chair.

  That is my teacher. Over there.

  This is my pencil. This is my pen.

  That is my drawing. I've done ten.

  3. Teaching pronounciation.

  语音教学是英语教学的一个重要方面。语音准确程度影响着学生整个英语学习水平。把语音巧妙设计在 rhyme 当中可以帮助学生准确掌握英语语音,有事半功倍的效果。

  My week

  On Monday night, I ride my bike.

  And walk and talk with my friend Mike.

  On Tuesday night, I go to meet

  My good friend Tony, in the street.

  On Wednesday night, I sit by the lake.

  I feed the fish. And eat a cake.

  On Thursday night, I close the door.

  And want some water. But fall to the floor.

  On Friday night, I read a book.

  And do some housework. And learn to cook.

  On Saturday night, I open the window.

  And wear my hat to watch the snow.

  On Sunday night, I see a boy.

  I play with him. And he's a toy.

  这首 rhyme 把几个元音音素融和在一起,通过押韵着重训练这些音素,有助于学生进行学习和比较、区分。这首 rhyme 也可以用来学习和复习单词 Sunday—Saturday。

  4. Teaching grammars.

  语法是教师们最头疼、学生们最害怕的教学内容,rhyme 能帮上大忙, 是帮助学生掌握语法知识的一个好办法。例如,教学正在进行时 be doing 结构时,笔者运用了这样一首rhyme:

  Who is ...?

  Who is playing with Mark? ↗

  Who is drinking tea? ↘

  Who is dancing in the park? ↗

  Who is watching me? ↘

  Mike is playing with Mark. ↗

  Mum is drinking tea. ↘

  I am dancing in the park. ↗

  Dad is watching me. ↘

  又如,在教学名词复数时,可以运用以下的这首rhyme:

  One potato, two potatoes, three potatoes, four.

  Five potatoes, six potatoes, seven potatoes, more.

  这首 rhyme 在教任意可数名词的复数时都可改编。虽然目前互联网和书刊上极少 rhyme 这方面的研究和资源,但我们掌握了改编的方法,资源就会变得很丰富。把教学内容改编到旧的 rhyme 里面去,二、四两句句尾要注意押韵,同时上下文又不能毫无意义。
