小学英语教学要“因地制宜”(2)

　　三、rhyme 的巧妙设计和巧妙运用

　　1. Teaching new words.

　　小学生活泼、好动，让他们枯燥地背诵外语单词，犹如把他们捆绑起来，学生能情绪高涨吗？而采用rhyme的教学手段，将语言与情境结合，创造生动、活泼的课堂学习氛围，学生在获得愉悦的同时，更激活了学习的心理内驱力，能够解决小学生单词遗忘率高的难题。

　　1）笔者曾在自己所教的两个教学班里做试验，教学 black, pink, brown……等10个关于颜色的新单词，其中一个班通过 rhyme 来教学，另一个班则不用这种方法。结果表明，前者比后者记忆有效率高两倍以上。笔者设计了以下这首 rhyme 来教学：

　　The Colours

　　Orange, orange, here's the judge.

　　Black, black, take your backpack.

　　Pink, pink, have a drink.

　　Brown, brown, touch the ground.

　　White, white, fly a kite.

　　Yellow, yellow, touch your nose.

　　Red, red, nod your head.

　　Purple, purple, eat an apple.

　　Blue, blue, go to school.

　　Green, green, I'm the queen! Yeah...!

　　这首 rhyme 同时也是一个游戏活动，每个小组派学生出来做 The Judge，再派一个女同学出来比赛，争做 The Queen。下面的学生一起拍掌念 “Black，black”,这几个女同学要接着念“take your backpack”并做相应的动作。The Judges 将会评出谁最出色，谁是 The Queen。
