2. 精心设计问题。
在这个任务中,学生阅读的文章是由教师指定的。通过让学生回答问题来推进阅读、理解文章的含义,是一种有效的方法。问题设计应该有助于突破文章的难点和理解文章的中心思想,有助于提高学生的英语表达能力,不应拘泥于文章的细枝末节。比如小精灵儿童网站上的文章“The big breakfast”,我根据文章设计了一下几个问题:1.Who usually made a big breakfast for the family? 2. Why did dad make the breakfast today? 3. Was Dad a good cook? Why or why not? 4. Was it a happy family? Why or why not? 这些问题体现了文章的主线,突出了中心,突破了难点。对于学生的回答,除了关注语言的表达形式,更重要的是关注回答的内容,因为回答的内容直接反映了学生对文章的理解程度。
3. 填空复述。
复述是以阅读为基础的,是阅读的升华,既考验学生的理解能力,也考验学生的语言表达能力。实践表明,让学生阅读后凭空复述难度很大,大部分同学很难完成任务。所以,我采用了填空的形式引导学生复述。比如小精灵儿童网站上的文章“An honest boy”,我根据文章设计了这样一个填空题。Paul was ________but _________. One day ________visited his village and gave away ___________. Paul got ________ from the king and he was _______. He saw a _____ among all the candy. First he didn't want to _______ the ring. But later he _______ to return the ring to _____. The king was very _______ and gave him ________ as a gift. At last, Paul become a ________ boy.
