  1、T: Today we’ll learn M5U1 they’re cows. First let’s learn this word “they’re=they are”. Pay attention to these 2 letters. “th” sound //(practice for several times, then put the card on the board)

  (go to the following , check their pronunciations. If some of them pronounced well then give he or she five.)

  2、T: Look at the screen, what’s this?(PPT-farm)It’s our farm. Read after me.

  Ss: farm farm.

  T: pay attention to the letter f, it sound /f/. /f/ /f/ farm.

  Ss: /f/ /f/ farm.

  T: Let’s play a game. When I say this word loudly, you should say it in a low voice. But when a say it in a low voice, you should say it loudly. Ok?

  Ss:Ok!

  (practice for several times)

  T: Let’s put our farm on the board.

  3、T: What’s this? (PPT-cow) It’s a cow. Read after me. Cow cow.

  Ss: Cow, cow.

  (let the kids open their mouth bigger)

  T: Now use the cow’s voice and say “cow”.

  T: Look at me.

  Ss: Look at you.

  T: What are the? (PPT-cows) They’re cows.

  (practice and writ the word on the board. Then read the sentences “what are the?”“They’re cows.”)
