  Ss: It’s on October 31st. Children dress up at night. They knock on doors and say “Trick or treat”. They can get candies.

  T:On October 31 st, not only children like to dress up, adults also dress up. Let’s read a story.

  展示绘本《Good Old Mum》

  T:Mum looks like young. But why is the name of the story is old Mum?

  播放绘本Good Old Mum

  Ss: (预设) She is Father Christmas.

  T: Mum says:“I’d like to be a Father Christmas”.

  板书句型

  设计意图:(1)通过阅读绘本中妈妈穿戴衣物的过程,帮助学生理解dress up 的意思,并为Let’s do 环节中学生描述自己在万圣节活动上的装扮提供语言支持。

  (2)提出思考性问题,Why is the name of the story is old Mum?增加学生阅读的趣味性,给与学生思考和想象的空间,并引出句型I’d like to be….
