  Use the same method to demonstrate apartment.

  T:(手偶对话)Now listen to Jenny and Li Ming, where do they live?

  Li Ming: Where do you live?

  Jenny: I live in a house. Where do you live?

  Li Ming: I live in an apartment.

  T:(举起手偶) I live in a house. Follow me.

  S: I live in a house.……

  T: I live in an apartment.

  S: I live in an apartment.……

  2 Do a dialogue with the puppet based on : Where do you live? I live in a /an .

  T:(让学生和手偶对话) Where do you live?

  S: ……

  3 Remind the students about “a” and “an” : a house , an apartment.

  4 Practice in pairs.

  S1: Where do you live?

  S2: I live in a /an .

  设计意图:

  借助简笔画直观的优势,激发学生丰富的想象力,让想象成为放飞知识与创新的翅膀。创设问题情境,激发学生主动探究问题的愿望与渴求,是启发学生积极思维的有效方法,有助于自主学习能力的培养。采用情景教学的方法,如手偶的对话、手偶向学生提问为学生提供真实的语言环境,结合生活实际的回答,让语言的学习在生活场景中更具有生命的活力。

  Step3 Drill:

  1 Play “Stop, Go” game with “Where do you live? I live in a /an .”

  2 Small groups work.

  Divide the class into groups and tell the students to “interview ” each other. Brainstorm the questions they can ask first. Write them on the blackboard.
