　　1. 定义：

　　一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。

　　关键词：a moment ago（刚才），just now（刚才），

　　yesterday（昨天），the day before yesterday （前天），

　　three months ago（三个月前），last night（昨晚）

　　I was late this morning. 今天早上我迟到了。

　　2. 关于动词be的过去式

　　动词be的过去式为was和were，第一人称单数和第三人称单数用was，其余用were。

　　1）肯定形式：主语＋was / were + 其它

　　2）否定形式：主语＋wasn’t / weren’t + 其它

　　I was not / wasn’t …

　　3）一般疑问形式及肯定和否定回答：

　　一般疑问句改法：将was, were提前放句首（Was / Were +主语＋其它）

　　Was he / she / it …? Yes, he / she / it was. / No, he / she / it wasn’t.

　　Were you …? Yes, I was. / No, I wasn’t.

　　Were they …? Yes, they were. / No, they weren’t.

　　4）特殊疑问句形式：特殊疑问词 + was / were + 主语 + 其他成分
