　　Show some stationeries and ask the pupils : What’s this ? Lead the pupils answer : This is a / an…. Practice more times and take the stationeries far away my body then I ask : What’s that ? Lead in the other answer : That is a / an….

　　2. Tell the pupils : Now please listen to me carefully, I will introduce my family to you. OK, please look the pictures. (I take the pictures far away my body and say : That is my grandpa / grandma / father / mother / brother / sister.) Finish that, I ask the pupils : Do you want to introduce your family like me? OK, now let’s learn the words about the family first.

　　3.Teaching the new words about family : grandpa grandma father mother brother sister.Drill them, use some game: Magic eye, Magic fingers,Police and thief. Read the words after me and call some pupils read that in teams or two by two.

　　4. Learn the text and sentence pattern:

　　T : Today, Sam with Amy and their family go and have picnic, Sam will make friends with us, so he want to introduce his family to us (translate), now please look at the picture and listen to the tape carefully to know him how to introduce.

　　Now, open your books,turn to page 6.Listen ,point and find: That is my mother. （Write the sentence on the blackboard）

　　Let the pupils understand the meaning about this text. Put great emphasis on let them point to every word when teacher read,they read the new words together.

　　Then teach the sentence pattern,drill it.Complete the sentence.
