湘少版英语五上《Which one do you want?》教学设计
教学目标:
本单元共四个课时,本课为第一课时,主要目标在于突破本单元的重点句型,掌握五个新授单词。
1.知识目标
能听懂、会读、会说新单词:thick .thin. rainc oat. short. long
能运用新句型对物品的大小、颜色、长短、厚薄等进行选择。
2.能力目标
能运用正确的语言有礼貌地、有选择地购物。
在各项任务、活动中、培养学生听、说、读、做、唱的能力以及合作能力、动手能力。
在创设的真实情境中,培养学生的英语口头表达能力和实际运用能力。
3.情感目标
在竞赛中培养孩子们的合作精神,竞争意识以及集体荣誉感。
多给学生以鼓励性的评价,增强学生的自信心,培养学生积极的学习态度持久的学习兴趣,以及乐于用英语和他人交际,善于与他人沟通的良好品质。

课前准备:
单词卡片,教学图片,实物(两个球,尺子,铅笔等),雨衣
教学过程:
Step 1 Warming-up
1、Greetings:
2、ask some Ss some questions: How are you? /What day is it today? /What’s the weather like today? /Can I borrow your ruler,please?
3、Sing a song—Rain ,Rain , Go away.
Step 2 Presentation
New words learning:
1、T: Today is a rainy day !
I haven’t take my umbrella .What can I do? What? Oh,yes !
We can put on our raincoats.Follow me ,please!
Raincoat!
2、Drill the word:raincoat sevel times and spell it using the fingers.
3、Show two balls and say :Boys and girls,Miss yang has two balls.one is big ,the other is small.
Big,big ,the big one Small ,small,the small one Red ,red ,the red one Yellow ,yellow ,the yellow one.
4、Show two books and say:What are these? Yes,these are two books.one is thin ,the other is thick. Thick,thick ,the thick one Thin,thin ,the thin one.
5、Show two clothes and say :How much is this T-shirt?Yes. It’s cheap!
6、Drill the Ss the new words:raincoat ,thin ,thick ,cheap .
7、Play a game-Sharp eyes T: Wonderful!
Let’s play a game . Quickly read out the words appear on the screen.
8、Let’s chant!
Big ,big ,the big one Small ,small,the small one
Long,long ,the long one Short,short,the short one;
Thin,thin ,the thin one Thick,thick ,the thick one .
Step 3 New sentences learning:
T:Boys and girls,now it’s a Magic Time:Let’s have a magic .
Please look carefully and guess what’s it ?
T:Magic,magic ,magic .What’s it ? Ss:It’s a_______.
T:It’s long or short?I have two ______,the long one or the short one ? Which one do you want?(配以动作)
Drill the Ss the sentences with action.
Talk about the dialogue in groups: -Which one do you want ,the____ one or the____ one? -The_______ one ,please!
T:Oh ,boys and girls ,you did a good job.Today we’ll learn Unit 5 Which one do you want?(板书课题)。Look !
Who are coming? Where are they going?Please look at the screen and listen carefully.
Read the text in your groups and finish the exersices on the screen : Lingling’s raincoat is long or short thin or thick red or yellow cheap or expensive
Step 4 Conclusion

Step 5 Homework:
1、Copy the new words four times and new sentences four times each.
2、Read the Part A and Part B five times each.
