  Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! I am very happy to stand here and share my lesson with you. But before it, please allow me to introduce myself to you. My name is Li Jixian. My students are from grade4.I hope you will enjoy the lesson. Ok, now, come to the point!

  First, I will talk about my understanding of this unit. This unit is talking about the using of the pasttense. Many students are interested in it, because it’s easy to understand. This lesson is the first part of Module 5. It’s very important.

  Teaching aims:

  1. Knowledge objects: Make the students know the using of the past tense.

  2. Ability objects: Training the ability of using the past tense. To develop Ss’ ability of communication with other people in English.

  3. Feeling objects: Make the Ss love our colorful and wonderful world.

  Second, I will talk about my teaching theories, methods and aids. While dealing with this lesson, I will do my best to carry out the following opinion: Make the Ss the real masters in class while the teacher himself acts as a director.

  Third, I will talk about my teaching steps. Now let me introduce my teaching procedure briefly. As we all know, “well begin is half done”。 A good beginning will not only warm the class up at once, but also will help the Ss learn well and learn the lesson in a happy way.

  Step 1.Greeting and warming up.

  Step 2.After greeting and warming up, we will play a game named

  “Guess Guess”!

  Step3.We will learn the new lesson, it’s Module 5 Unit 1.

  Step4.Listen to the tape and find the answers.

  Step5. Listen and read after the tape.

  Step6. Read the passage by themselves. After that,we will retell the passage together by 6 pictures.

  Step7. Act out the passage.

  Step8. Practice. Finish” My School Day” and fill in the blanks.

  Step9. Homework and summary.

  Step10. At last, let’s look at the

  blackboard again.

  Module 5 Unit 1 We went to the Great Wall.

  Go---went

  See---saw

  Buy---bought

  Have---had

  Eat---ate

  In my opinion, the blackboard design can reflect the teacher’s ability of mastering the text and leading the Ss to master the text easily. I write them on the blackboard in order to tell the Ss that this is the importance in this class. I want to make the class inductive, so much for this, thank you for your listening.
