　　教学过程：

　　Step 1 Greeting

　　T: Hello, boys and girls.

　　S: Hello, teacher.

　　T: Welcome to our English class again. Look at the chant, let鈥檚 read it together.

　　I can sing, she can鈥檛 dance.

　　I can run, she can鈥檛 jump.

　　We are friends in the town.

　　(Invite some students to read.)

　　Step 2 lead in

　　1.listening practice

　　Listen and say the words you hear.

　　2.listen and read

　　3.Read together.

　　Step 3 presentation

　　1.T: Now, look, There is a girl in the picture, she lived in a town many years ago. Let鈥檚 see she could do what and she couldn鈥檛 do what.

　　Then ask some students to show the chant.

　　T:What are the differences between him and us?

　　Ss: He doesn鈥檛 have arms and legs.

　　T: Yes .He is a disabled man, but he is very happy, he is optimistic. We should learn from him. So, can he be your role model?(板书Role model并教读，理解意思.)

　　2.She is a great woman. Let鈥檚 see some photos of her.

　　T: Do you know who she is?

　　Ss: Helen Keller.

　　T:You are right. Thank you. She is Hellen Keller. She was a famous woman.Today, let鈥檚 learn Hellen鈥檚 stories.

　　3.Explain difficult words on the screen: born, drew, letter, herself, all over, spell, world, live,became.

　　Then lead to read.

　　T: Ok, here, I have some questions for you. who can read?

　　Ss: Read individually.

　　S: Look at the questions and listen.
